Forklift Batteries, Lift Truck Battery Chargers and Battery Handling Solutions
Forklift Truck Depot Limited supplies high quality traction batteries in both BS and DIN formats. All the products comply with European Original Equipment Standards and come with a comprehensive warranty.
Wherever possible we try to collect traction batteries from site so that we can refurbish under controlled conditions.
Battery boxes are cleaned and, subject to customer approval, repaired if required. The new traction battery is then built up complete with new plug and harness, checked and then put on charge.
This is our suggested system of work as it provides a smooth, clean operation without hazardous substances being handled at your site.
We also offer a mobile fitting service for customers that need motive power products turning round quickly. We operate vehicles fitted out to do just this job - most importantly with a bespoke loading system. Replacement cells are transported to site in steel stillages centrally located in the vehicle. The exhausted battery is removed and placed in a second stillage for safe onward transport to be grouped prior to disposal by a licensed waste company.
The new battery is built into your machine in a matter of hours ensuring minimum downtime. We do not leave you to deal with the delivery of a product containing hazardous chemicals nor do we leave waste or hazardous products at your site.
The whole operation is carried out quickly and cleanly with the minimum of fuss and without the danger to your employees or impact on your business.
