Forklift Field Service Engineer Job in Barnsley

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Field Service Engineer who can confidently service, maintain and repair a wide range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. You should be comfortable diagnosing faults, completing repairs and carrying out planned maintenance both independently and as part of our wider engineering team.
 

The right person will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, good fault-finding skills and previous experience working with forklifts, plant equipment or similar machinery. Experience with VNA forklifts and specialist warehouse equipment would be an advantage, although additional training can be provided.
 

You’ll need to be organised, dependable and comfortable travelling to customer sites. Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers and represents Forklift Truck Depot Limited professionally at all times.
 

A full UK driving licence is required for this role. Relevant engineering qualifications are preferred, but practical experience, a strong work ethic and the right attitude are equally important to us.
